Electrical Designer/3D Modeling CAD Technician responsible for projects within the Pulp and Paper and Natural Gas Facilities. 

• Cavendish Farms Ltd. – Compressed Natural Gas Stations: Provided electrical and instrumentation, 3D modeling and design layout assistance to the lead electrical engineer for a High Pressure Natural Gas Fueling Station and the Decanting Station in Baie Verte, NB and New Annan, PEI. Provided grounding layout design support, underground conduit layouts, MCC layouts, cable tray layouts, lighting layouts and building/site layout drawings. Software assistance included AutoCAD 2012 and NavisWorks Simulate 2011.

• Lake Utopia Paper Ltd. – Hog Fuel-Biomass Boiler Project: Provided electrical and instrumentation 3D layout and design assistance for the installation of the New Hog Fuel Boiler building, Trailer Dumper Area, Outside Conveying System, Reclaim Hog Feeder and Precipitator. Prepared cable tray layouts, lighting layouts, building services layouts, conduit layouts, heat tracing layouts and instrumentation layouts.

• Irving Wallboard – Rock Handling System: Provided electrical and instrumentation 3D layout and design assistance for the new Rail Car Unloading/Rock Handling building. Prepared cable tray layouts, lighting layouts, building services layouts, Below Slab 3D conduit layouts and instrumentation layouts.

• Irving Pulp and Paper Ltd. – New White Liquor Storage Tank: Provided electrical and instrumentation 3D layout and design assistance for the installation of the New White Liquor Storage Tank. Prepared grounding layouts, cable tray layouts for the Digester Pump and White Liquor Feed Pump, and associated electrical services layouts and schematics.

• Irving Pulp and Paper Ltd. – EJB/IJB As Builts: Provided CAD support for updating the plant wide EJB and IJB boxes to reflect existing Instrument DCS system conditions.

• Travali Mining Corporation – Halfmile Lake Project: Prepared single line diagrams and standard installation details for the Mine Facility of the underground electrical Installation design.

Electrical Technician on multiple projects within the Pulp and Paper Mills, Saw Mills, Processed Food Facilities and Board Plants.

• CPG Coleson Cove Petcoke Commercialization: Developed working construction drawings in concert with the design engineer of the below slab Electrical Power, controls and building services conduit for the newly constructed PetCoke Warehouse. Responsible for 3D Modeling all cable tray, industrial lighting and building services with the aide of AutoCAD and Navisworks Simulate software.
• Nanticoke Generating Station – Units 7 & 8, I.D. Fans VFD Upgrade: Lead draftsperson and 3D Modeler for the installation design of cable tray and building services. Developed interconnect wiring diagrams and motor schematic diagrams for the new VFDs.
• Bayside Power – Station Service Upgrade: Maintained 4160V Breaker schematics drawing layouts, MCC Elevation plant revisions and breaker wiring diagrams for each of the operational Generating units.
• Canadian Natural Resources Limited – Truck Washbay, Fort MacKay, Alberta: 3D Modeler for the cable tray Installation, Truck Bay building services and Electrical Room layout.
• Irving Sawmill Division – GLT Bio-Mass Energy Plant Upgrade , Chipman, NB: Developed cable tray layouts, building services layouts, instrumentation and controls layouts for the new Bio-Mass building.
• Irving Tissue Inc. - No.7 TAD Tissue Machine, Fort Edwards, NY: Assigned as Lead project Electrical & controls 3D Modeling Technician. Determined cable tray and Off-tray routes and 3D modeled while working in collaboration with the Mechanical and Civil disciplines leads. Modeled building services and lighting, field junction boxes, Outdoor Padmount Transformers and Fire Alarm systems. Responsible for modeling all of the main Electrical Room equipment and Rack Room equipment such as the 4160V and 600V MCC’s, Switchgear, Transformers, PLC Panels and Process power Panels.

• Irving Pulp and Paper Ltd. – Bleach Plant Automation Upgrade: Drafting Technician responsible for the layout of the MCC Front Elevations, marshalling cabinets, junction box wiring diagrams, PLC and DCS cabinet wiring layouts. Preparation of instrumentation and power cable schedules, Equipment location drawings, instrument loop drawings and motor schematic layouts.

• Irving Pulp and Paper Ltd. – Truck Dumper Addition: Provided Electrical and controls drafting and design drawing layout assistance for the installation of the New Truck Dumper. Provided power and control layouts, cable tray layouts, MCC Elevation drawings, motor schematic drawings, lighting  and building services drawings.

• Bayside Power – Transfer Station Service Upgrade: Developed Breaker Cooling Water wiring diagrams, control drawings and instrument loop drawings for the Station service Upgrade.

• East Kentucky Power Corporation – Spurlock Units 1 & 2 DCS Replacement: Provided drafting assistance for the Boiler System control Interconnects and created System loops from cable schedules and I/O DCS Lists.

• Irving Paper Ltd. – Power Boiler Natural Gas Conversion: Developed cable tray layouts, instrumentation loops and Field junction box layouts as required.

• Irving Pulp and Paper Ltd. – Main Chip Cyclone Relocation: Created MCC elevation drawings, power layouts and motor schematic layouts.

• Courtenay Bay – Repowering Project : Created instrumentation layout drawings, instrument loop drawings and PLC Chassis and Card File layout drawings.

• Irving Pulp and Paper Ltd . – No.2 T/G Set Upgrade: Provided design and drawing assistance for the layout and routing of the new 13.8Kv cable tray from the New Switchgear in Substation 90 to the Turbine Generating Room.

• Irving Tissue Ltd. – Vision One Project – New Tissue Machine Installation: Provided 3D Modeling of the cable tray, MCC Lineups, control cabinets, field junction boxes and building services.

• Cavendish Farms – Plant 1 and Plant 2 Bio-Gas Facility: CAD Technician and 3D Modeling for the cable tray design, switchgear, transformers, MCC’s and building services design.

• OSB Mill Capacity Upgrade – Crystal Hill, VA: CAD Technician for PLC cabinet and wiring diagrams, cable tray layouts and junction box layouts. Provided quality control drafting checks of drawing packages before being released for construction.

• LP Houlton, ME – OSL Manufacturing Process Line: Provided CAD assistance for PLC Panel wiring designs, Device location drawings, power and instrumentation layouts, motor schematics, MCC Elevation drawings and building services layouts.
